Stopped in for a cocktail. Bartender, Neil was a super nice guy. He knows how to make great cocktail! He recommended the fried oysters for an appetizer, and they were fantastic. I would definitely recommend stopping by!
This is our neighborhood bar/restaurant and we come here frequently. The food is very good. There are lots of different options, large servings. I love their tamales! I always have left overs to take home for lunch the next day. Nice wine pours and a full bar too. I'd give it a 4.5 if they had that option on the review.
Great local place for standard American fare. The prime rib dip is awesome, and the hand breaded tenders are better than the standard restaurant.
Nice atmosphere. Our waiter Matthew was great. He was having to run in circles because they didn’t have enough help. The food was just okay, but nothing to call home about. The mash potatoes and corn was awful. The chicken fried chicken was okay it taste like it came out of the box but it still had some flavor. The French fries were really good. My hubby said his shrimp poboy was just okay.
We ended up walking out and going around the corner to Soul Fish where we were served good food in a timely manner.
I've eaten there before and it wasn't horrible. Nothing stellar but not too bad. Today was a different story.
My wife and I went there around 12:45 for lunch. There were maybe 4 other tables of people. We were ignored for almost 20 minutes.
Will definitely not be going back.
