Horrible! Triage was excellent and checking in were extremely helpful. It was the nurse practitioner who needs to go back to school and learn some bedside manners!! I was sent home in severe pain and bleeding badly as if they didn't have enough rooms. I'm still in severe pain and feel worse than when I went in. I feel like I was treated as though I was some drug addict and can't figure out why they would not even let me have a few minutes extra to allow the pain pill to work. After saying that what she had to do was really painful, you would think that they would try to be a little more help!!! I will NOT ever go to this hospital again., I would go to The Med first! Seriously, go ANYWHERE else!!! I will contact an Omnbudsman and file a complaint when I can feel better. I told them I was a 6 when I went in and a 12 when they were hurriedly rushed back out. I was shaking uncontrollably in excruciating pain and not one person cared except my husband, who was in disbelief that they weren't helping..at all.
We were in the er for several hours and the check in and the guys drawing blood were super nice. We go in to the room and someone comes in and says fill this out and someone will come by and pick it up. I had to go look for someone to fill something out. The dr finally arrives and checks on my daughter then leaves and doesn't return m. We got here at 930 pm and it's 3:21 am and we are still waiting.
I went to the ER this past Sunday and received the best treatment! Everyone was nice but I must say, the nurses and the doctor were very informative and caring during the entire process. Awesome Experience!
Absolutely a terrible experience. The staff acts as if they all are burned out. If that’s the case, get a new job. Patients were in rooms 4-5 hours in the ER and leaving with a diagnosis of flu symptoms. A lady with an oxygen mask on her face vomited in the mask and then started choking and this went undetected until a family member noticed and got help. They are terribly understaffed and could care less how long you wait. Another man with a cut only needed stitches and was in the waiting room 5 hours. Zero sense of urgency out of anyone. Go to St.Francis or baptist. These people do not treat anyone with one ounce of dignity or respect. Simply mind blowing and I for one will never return.
Sunday 10/30/17. Great Job from check in to check out. Staff were excellent. Quickly diagnosed and provided appropriate and was provided referral for continual care. Thanks to all staff!
