I visited Renew Wellness Spa because I purchased a Groupon for a discounted massage. Even for $30, I would not go back. They did not call to confirm my appointment, so I got concerned I may have gotten the date wrong. I tried to call on my way to the appointment, and had to call 13 times before anyone picked up. Apparently, there was only one person there and she was with another client during the 30 minutes I tried to call. Shouldn't there be a receptionist or someone else there to assist all the other customers? When I finally got there, my massage therapist was wearing a wife beater that showed quite a bit of cleavage, which I thought was unprofessional. When I got to my massage room, it was so cold that the last thing I wanted to do was take my clothes off. I hoped the bed was heated, but it was not. The massage itself was just O.K., it felt more of someone just rubbing lotion all over me than an actual massage with a technique. Also, she was barefoot while massaging me. Can you say unprofessional again? When it was over and she stepped out of the room for me to get dressed, the clock read 7:05. My Groupon was for a one-hour massage (appointment at 6:15), so I arrived at 6:10 and was on the table by 6:15. She cut my massage time by 10 minutes! All in all, I would not recommend Renew Wellness Spa. Don't waste your money on such an unprofessional spa. Go somewhere with a professional staff where you can feel comfortable and relaxed. I will return to my usual spa.
I had the most amazing spa experience here! I needed a good facial and skin treatment for my wedding in New Orleans. Amber and her crew went above and beyond my expectations, my face and skin looked perfect!! Thank you so much! I highly recommend this place!!
