This is my school and this year they decided to mess up the car lines. Now you can only go in one side, and you must go all the way around the loop unless you got a special parking space or you are picking someone up in the afternoon. For the morning student drop off they now have the closer drop off blocked. In the only other one, you are forced to walk in front of the other cars because the sidewalk is to the left of the 2-lane drop off. Yes, there are awesome school lunches, and all new students will receive a computer, but the car lines are a problem that needs to be fixed.
I came here for some professional development training in embedded literacy and preparing students for new standardized testing. The school was very clean, well-kept, and it looks like very well supplied. I even saw a computer lab filled with Apple Macs.
It's a good school with decent teachers. However the administration currently working here is in my opinion, slightly below sub-par and could run the school better.
Son attended, prepared him for college, and adult life. His friends and classmates, for the most part, seem to have gone on to be successful.
